This website beginners gambling was set up to aid beginning gambling students by Doug Link; to discuss all forms of gambling from the history of gambling to techniques, how to gamble strategies and most interestingly for me the psychology of a good gambler. It focuses on Casino gambling such as the excitement of Black Jack, the romance of Roulette and the skill of poker, to the thrill packed world of sports betting including horse and dog racing as well as boxing, football, golf and tennis etc. My grandfather was one of the most successful professional horse racing gamblers during the 1970's in the UK. He made money and lots of it. He also loved the profession of gambling with a passion. He didn't make particularly big amounts on one or two races, but made a very handsome profit over the course of a year. He later became a bookie and made even more money, but didn't have as much fun when he was starting his career as a professional gambler. The site is not just about helping you as a beginner to make money but also about having fun. Gambling should be fun as well as being profitable. I gamble for both fun and profit. Using knowledge and experience it is possible to beat the bookies and other betters whether it be at poker or at the dogs. The bookies and other betters; after all are human, just like me or you. There is no reason that you can't beat them at their own game, by using your knowledge and the knowledge of others in the gambling community. If you think you are a smart guy (or lady as there are no many good female gamblers) then give it a go. You will not be held back by class, race or gender; that is the great thing about gambling. Have you got what it takes ? Do you know your sport or your game ? Yes take it seriously but have fun at the same time, if you don't have fun playing then after all what it the point ? If you make sensible decisions and have a good knowledge of your particular gambling area, then you can go far in the long term. Keep your head (even when having a bad run), keep to your system and over the long term you will make a handsome profit. We will discuss the different success stories and how they made their fortunes, lost them and made them back again.
